STUDENT MATINEES
Shakespeare & Company offers performances specifically scheduled for student audiences through out the North East and at its campus in Lenox. Typically, these student shows feature plays that are central to school curriculum, such as Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Julius Caesar, Macbeth, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Taking students to see Shakespeare gives them an opportunity to experience his plays as live theatrical events, rather than simply as literature. Visit http://www.shakespeare.org/tour for more the current schedule of Student Matinees.
In the Spring, Shakespeare & Company also offers an educational and entertaining 45-minute presentation called Shakespeare and the Language that Shaped a World for middle- and elementary school groups. Visit http://www.shakespeare.org for more info.
